Danni proved me wrong with our recent trip to the Congo. Rather than sitting in the back of a truck for hours, we walked through the forests and waded and kayaked through the bais, in our small group of 3 people, encountering gorilla families and grazing elephants at dawn.

Walking waist deep in a channel created by thousands of of elephants over ages of travel, i felt totally connected with the unique ecosystem. Sitting afterwards with your feet in the same spring fed stream and sipping a g+t made me grateful for the absolutely over the top hospitality and accommodations!
A trip to be remembered – and I’m ready for Danni’s next challenge.“
