One place @leonie.taylor.kampala wishes more people knew about is Ruaha National Park in southern Tanzania. It’s one of her favourite parks in Africa, almost twice the size of the Serengeti, yet with only a handful of camps and very few visitors.
With vast baobabs, unique Miombo woodlands and around 10% of Africa’s lions, it feels wonderfully wild and untouched.
For travellers who’ve done the Mara or Serengeti and want something truly off the beaten track, Ruaha should be high on the list.
