“This was an absolute trip of a lifetime! Everything was exquisitely planned down to the finest detail, and we could not be happier with the level of service provided by Sikeleli! Every aspect of the trip was a highlight, but certainly our favorite was the amazing safari experience!
Nothing to improve on, this trip was perfectly planned and all of our wishes were 100% accommodated!

All of our transfers and airport escorts were great. We are completely unused to having that kind of help, as previously we have always planned our own travel. It is amazing how low-stress it is to have all of the small logistics of a trip 100% taken care of. Every one of the Colossal staff was wonderful and helpful, and the young lady that escorted Kate gets a gold star!! All transfer vehicles were clean and safe, and the drivers tremendously helpful and knowledgable. The Vamoos app is absolute money!!! So great to have everything at our fingertips! Also really cool to be able to pass along our entire itinerary to the dozens of friends, family, and facebook friends who have asked for it!

Cape Town

Cape Cadogan was awesome!! Super cool hotel with tremendously friendly staff. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The manager was even kind enough to walk us to a local restaurant at 22:30 on the night of our arrival! Great location close to awesome restaurants and bars. The two room suite was absolutely ideal for our family of four. Breakfast was great!

Both tours with Escape and Explore were absolutely fantastic!! Darryn Cuff was our guide and he did an amazing job, and is now essentially a family friend! Super knowledgeable, and very funny and witty. Even despite getting rained out of the Table Mountain hike, he went above and beyond to make these two days really special, even taking us to one of his favorite craft breweries on our Cape Tour, and an absolutely stunning wine farm on the way to Franshhoek as bonus stops. The winery is called Rainbow’s End, and both the wine and the scenery were stunning! Would absolutely recommend continuing to use Escape and Explore!

The Cape Fusion food tour was very cool. Rachel was our guide, and did a nice job mixing the history of the city with some awesome food. It was cool to explore Cape Town on foot, and we were very glad for the experience! 

Simbambili

Absolute paradise!!!! This place is over the top amazing!! The lodging, the staff, the animals, the food, all absolute home runs! So cool to have a bunch of different dining venues, each more magical than the last. Our guide and tracker were absolutely fantastic! Our butler/waiter/steward was super personable and delightful! Kate cried a little when we said good bye to him 🙂 I can not imagine a more idyllic place to Safari!! 5 stars all the way!!

Vic Falls

The Palm River was absolutely gorgeous!! Awesome staff and amazing food. So cool to enjoy a cocktail on the front patio watching the Zambezi flow by! The rooms were perfect, and we enjoyed watching hippos and warthogs right off our balcony! Complimentary shuttle was super nice, and a great way to get back and forth from town.

The Mists of Time tour was awesome! The brief talk by our guide was super informative, and then the tour of the Falls was stunning! Really nice to have the benefit of the provided rain coats 🙂 So very cool to see the sheer power and beauty of this Natural Wonder of the World!! 

We loved walking around town, and enjoyed shopping at Ele Walk and dining at 3 Monkeys!

The Zambezi Sunset Cruise was absolutely lovely! Our knowledgable and enthusiastic captain made this a great experience, plus the weather was absolutely perfect. Tons of wildlife viewing and a picture perfect sunset were the perfect book end to our trip.”
