“I would not hesitate to use Sikeleli Travel again and would also recommend them to anyone who is interested in going on safari. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to East Africa with Sikeleli Travel. We had used them on a previous occasion to South Africa and did not hesitate to reach out to them again once we decided on our next adventure. Our trip was roughly two years in the making, and Karen (our trip coordinator) was very patient as well as attentive to our needs. She offered a few different options for us to choose from. She asked what our priorities were and what we wanted to achieve on this trip. She took care of every detail, including processing our visas; basically, all we had to do was pack our bags.
From the time we arrived in Nairobi to the time we left Zanzibar, we did not have to worry about how we were going to get from one place to the next. We could not have asked for better accommodations; we stayed in six separate locations. Each location offered a unique experience. It is hard to pick which hotel, camp, or lodge we enjoyed the most as each one had its own unique qualities. The highlight of the trip was staying at Giraffe Manor. I kept pinching myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming being up close to the giraffes. However, I wished we had more time as we only stayed one night and did not have enough time to experience all that the manor had to offer.
We could not have asked for better tour guides. Our guides, Fidelis, Kim, ChaCha, Gabriel, Silima, and Selah, were excellent hosts and catered to our needs. At the end, we felt we made lifelong friends. We especially loved the warm greeting we received when we arrived at Siringit Migration Camp, and that was another highlight to our trip! The staff sang and danced upon our arrival as well as the end of our stay. We truly felt the warm hospitality of the staff.
Overall, the staff in all the locations were friendly and very attentive to our needs and provided excellent service. The food was amazing and I don’t think we had one disappointing meal. This trip will have lasting memories for a lifetime. If you book a trip with Sikeleli Travels, you will not be disappointed! ”
