Travelled in 2022
The highlight of our trip was definitely the gorilla trekking. My family has gone on a few different game drive safaris but this experience beat them all. The gorillas are so majestic, playful, and intelligent. We hiked up and stood with them for an hour. It was so fascinating to watch them interact with each other. My favorite was watching the young gorillas. It was so cute how they would play tag with each other and spin around in circles. There was even one point where they came up and tried to get me to play tag! This was an experience we won’t forget.
