One of the main highlights is at the Old Drift Lodge where we saw a family of elephants drinking out of our pool! Both the river and land safari at sunrise were spectacular with bush picnics by the picturesque Zambezi river. I’ve become a fan of having my morning coffee with Amarula!!

At Simbavati waterside, the location next to the watering hole was very nice to look out while having meals, where we had a group of elephants entertaining us. Every meal here is a 5 star experience with the quality of food served. I particularly loved the small size of this lodge which made it intimate and easy for us to get to know other guests. We also love our guides Julian and Rodney! Julian was incredibly knowledgeable and we loved hearing him sharing facts about the animals we saw and also being considerate to the animals and surroundings.

The meet and greet at airport was a nice touch that helped us expedited the queues. Fungai gave us a pleasant surprise while we were at Victoria Falls with a bottle of bubbles and also the credits at Simbavati was really appreciated where I had a relaxing massage and the kids chose a souvenir from the gift shop.”
