Travelled in September 2024 | 

“Danni, Fungai, Chiedza and Mark– Mary and I just want to let all of you know just how great a trip we had to South Africa and Zimbabwe. Every part of the trip went smoothly and even as fairly experienced travelers, this was a trip of a lifetime.

All of you were very understanding of our group and helpful all along the way as we planned a trip with diverse couples. We are very appreciative.

The choice of the Safari lodges allowed us to see different terrain andanimals including the Big 5 and the Ugly 5 as well. Madikwe and Sabi Sabi are different and it was good to experience both sites. As expected, Vic Falls is a bit more touristy, but worth seeing.

Cape Town we found to be a beautiful foodie place and we enjoyed the sites and the food scene.

We did choose to visit the Community site in Sabi Sabi and saw the great work they are doing through the Sabi Sabi Foundation. It was a stark reminder of just how blessed all of us in the U.S. are and how lucky we are to be able to experience so much of the world in comfort and not to struggle to get by each day. We have the information from that visit to contribute to the great work they are doing there..

So a fact you may not know that I learned from the pilots on the charter flights- the Cessna Grand Caravans used by the charter flight companies are made in Wichita, Kansas in the U.S. So I asked how so many of them get to South Africa? They are actually flown over four days by two pilots over the U.S., Canada,  the Northern Atlantic, down over Europe and across all of Africa to reach South Africa- not Delta One for sure!!! Sounds grueling!

All the guides and tour operators were exceptionally nice and helpful across the board. I will never be able to pronounce Welgelegan correctly, though! I better stick to Romance languages and skip Africaans or Dutch!

It is clear that you folks know how to put together an adventure that goes smoothly for the guests!  So all that said, thank all of you for your parts in making this trip memorable for Mary and I and our travel partners! We were lucky to stumble into your company and to meet all of you. We are thankful for your help! Please have a great rest of 2024 and beyond and keep doing what you do for other travelers!”
