Karen and I talked about what type of experiences my wife and I wanted on our trip, and she came through in spades.

Small family owned, boutique lodgings for a romantic trip. All were beyond our expectations. Our safari experience was the top highlight. We saw every “Big 5” animal multiple times as well as many other animals. We saw far more than we had expected and much closer than we expected.

Each drive was as great as the next. Excellent restaurants, gardens, food and wines.

Private tours of Victoria Falls on both the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides were the second top highlight of this adventure.

Thirdly, thrilled to fly over Victoria Falls in an ultralight and an evening cruise on the Zambezi plus a stay in the venerable Victoria Falls Hotel.

Food tour of Cape Town. Guided tour of Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, and the beautiful wine country. What can I say other than “Thanks Karen, this trip was special!” And thank you for taking time to meet Randi and me at the end of our fabulous trip.

Karen was a delight to work with in the many months we worked on this itinerary together. We were very happy with everything. In fact we are blown away by everything Karen did.

The online and OS App itinerary accurately represented what we planned and was most helpful as a daily calendar/planner while we were traveling. Plus we received a fully printed version upon arrival for reference as we experienced new day.

I have planned a lot of independent travel over the last 20+ years but could not have pulled off this trip with the level of luxury and detail we enjoyed without the experience of Karen and Sikeleli Travel.

I found Karen, Danni, and Mark flexible and great to work with during the two years of covid that delayed this trip. Everyone “went with the flow” and were delightful to work with. Would recommend them to family, friends, and anyone who would like a hassle free travel itinerary developed to meet their travel vision and budget.

Money well spent in having been matched with reliable vendors; knowledgable tour guides; and personal handlers who met us as we disembarked flights and walked us quickly to the head of lines through customs, covid testing, passport controls, etc.; locating hidden gem restaurants and hotels; and an upscale safari lodge with great guides and trackers.

Everything scheduled went smoothly, and we never felt left on our own when going from one place to the next. Made for a stress free, enjoyable vacation.
