One of the primary things that made this safari so enjoyable, was the ease of working with the Sikelil team. Danni, Karen and Fungai were all incredibly knowledgeable and very accessible. All questions were answered quickly and completely so we went into the trip with the confidence that all details from transfers to tours to accommodations would be taken care of. Everything was flawless so we did not have to worry about a thing! The quality of the accommodations and tour guides was top notch and the extra personal touches such as a gift waiting in our room or a text from Mark when one of us was under the weather, were greatly appreciated! We are already looking forward to our next trip back to Africa and can’t wait to plan it with you again!

The wildlife viewing was phenomenal. Not only did we see a plethora of giraffes, zebras, kudu, impala, warthogs, baboons and hippos, but we were lucky enough to witness lionesses hunting their prey, a leopard after a recent kill, a mother lioness taking care of her 2 cubs and a leopard protecting her baby in the tree. One of the non-safari highlights for all of us was the visit to Mpisi village. The chief and children were delightful and we spent an afternoon with them learning their customs, exchanging stories and playing soccer with the kids. We wish we could have spent even more time with them! Other favorite memories included witnessing a fight between 2 bull elephants and then the light from the truck catching the lionesses at their feet and the baboon who jumped onto our jeep to snatch a cookie out of the hands of one of the kids!

You worked perfectly within our budget and timing constraints. You were flexible when we needed to shift our trip by a day and worked with us to provide a logistically easy ground only safari. The camps on safari and the hotel you booked for us in Cape Town were all top notch. Every detail was taken care of so that the trip was seamless. I can’t think of anything you could do to improve upon this trip!

I thought the website and linked itinerary were very user friendly. It was easy for us to find all of the information for our trip both before we left and while on safari.
